Can’t say enough good things about the shopping experience with Key West Ford. From start to finish, Adam walked me through the purchase process without any hiccups. As I was flying in from Alberta, it was important to have a reassuring experience, and Key West delivered! I arrived to see my amazing looking F150 all shined up and ready for me to drive gone. Arash gave me the tour, and I was on my way. Would definitely buy from again!
Easy to deal with and very helpful
I was a 2 hour car ride away from being able to view or test drive anything, and both Peter Olson and Rob Vanoverschot were very helpful both via SMS and phone in trying to get something sorted out for me. Peter was in the office when I went down to visit (not to downplay Rob as he was fantastic at doing all of the leg work before I came in, but even salespersons deserve a day off!) and helped get everything sorted for me (with help from Gurg who was also fantastic and quick on the draw with the paperwork) including test drive and working out the finances / insurance. This is a fantastic dealership and they go above and beyond especially during COVID times where things aren't always as straight forward. Thanks again guys and I'll be in touch about some winter tyres! - Tim

Al helped me out Wednesday. We nailed down the truck I was interested in purchasing. I got it at a price I wanted to work with. Lovely staff all around very accommodating. Straight forward, no nonsense group at Key West ford. I will continue to purchase vehicles in the Future from them. Thanks Al, and the Key West Team! Love the F-150
Found me an Explorer ST
Full marks to Key West Ford. I live in the Okanagan and wanted to buy a new Explorer ST but they are like gold dust, very hard to find. The four Ford dealers I contacted locally could not find me a red or magnetic ST anywhere in Western Canada. So I turned to AutoTrader and saw that Key West Ford had a magnetic grey ST on delivery in ten days. I spoke to Peter Olson on the phone and he confirmed it had all the options I was looking for. Peter and his Sales Manager, Wes, agreed a price for my trade in over the phone and ten days later I made the trip to New Westminster to pick up my brand new ST - just 9 kms on the clock. Great job guys. Highly recommended.

There’s been some huge news in the automotive world this week! If you recall back to last June, Nissan revealed a special edition of its GT-R during the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England. The vehicle marked the 50th anniversary of both the model and Italdesign – the Italian firm in charge of the GT-R50’s design. Days before its public debut at Goodwood, an official prototype was unveiled, yet there was no word of a forthcoming production.
Well, all that has changed. Nissan and Italdesign have now confirmed that a limited production run of the GT-R50 will, in fact, move ahead.
Priced at 990,000 euros (or approximately $1.1 million USD), the GT-R50 will growl with a 3.8-liter V6 engine rated at 710 horsepower. This is over and above the performance of the regular model with the NISMO trim level, plus buyers will have a choice of interior and exterior colors to suit their personal style.
Check it out for yourself:
The special edition GT-R50 will be produced in Italdesign’s shop in Turin, Italy, with only 50 models being made. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2019 and will continue through 2020.

At the moment, the 2019 Leaf is equipped with a 40-kWh battery for a range of 150 miles. Charging times should be comparable with the current model too.

Seattle, Nissan is Giving Back to Those Impacted by the Northern California and Northern LA Wildfires

(Posted on Nov 30, 2018 at 10:17PM by Michelle Bogle)
cabin filter replacements seattle washingtonWith the ongoing wildfires in Northern California and Northern Los Angeles, Nissan is giving back to those in need by offering free in-cabin microfilter replacements for customers impacted by the disaster. This complimentary service, which includes labor for installation and inspection, is being offered until January 31, 2019, at over 50 Nissan dealerships.
“We are heartbroken by the devastation of these wildfires and want to help those who have been affected in some way,” said Kevin Wagstaff, Regional VP, Nissan North America in a press release. “We can only hope this offer of a free in-cabin microfilter replacement provides some relief as communities begin to rebuild.”
It’s very important for Nissan owners impacted by the wildfires to have their vehicles inspected and to replace the in-cabin microfilters. This is a key component since its job is to clean the air entering the cabin by trapping pollen, bacteria, dust and exhaust gases. If left untouched, it could compromise the car’s interior air quality.
The automaker has also committed to performing free multi-point inspections on Nissan vehicles brought in for in-cabin microfilter replacements, along with deferring payment options and providing employee pricing on new vehicles for Northern California and Northern Los Angeles residents affected by the wildfires.
From all of us at Kirkland Nissan, our hearts go out to those touched by this disaster. To learn more about the important causes that Nissan supports, call our dealership today.
