Peter Olson is a great sales rep! His friendly and professional character matches the picture.
He managed to find the exact truck I was looking for.
Gave me a descent trade in value for my 2013 f150.
Peter and Nicholas Terezakis (from finance) worked hard to get me this sweet ride.
I'm very happy with their service and would recommend Key West if you're considering a new or used Ford vehicle.
If you have an idea of what you want. Give Peter a call and he'll do his research to get you in it.
purchased a 2nd vehicle within 6 months
After dealing with Peter Olson for our purchase of a 2019 Ford Escape in November 2019 and Peter doing such a wonderful job for us, we decided to see him when we wanted to purchase a new F-150. He could not find anything that matched our exact wishes so we factory ordered a 2020 in February. The day finally arrived when the truck was delivered to Key West. We drove down from Vernon to finalize the purchase not knowing the factory had made the truck with an 8ft box! What a dissappointment! Peter and Sales Manager Michael Nokes did everything they could to find us another truck. A truck was found and was sold to us at the exact same price as our original quote. We traded in our 2014 and were given a very good trade-in value on it. Peter and Michael were an amazing team and we are very grateful everything worked out. We picked up the new vehicle and headed back to Vernon. The truck performed amazingly and we are over the top with the service we received from Peter Olson and Michael Nokes.
Great Dealership to Work With

Also a big thank you to the sales manager, Ivan, who agreed to the price that we wanted without any hidden fees or pressure. Thank you very much for a such great experience!

Went here expecting the average high pressure sale tactics, but turns out there was they were very helpful! Had all the documentation for the vehicle I was interested in. Let me take car out for a nice long test drive alone. The sales man Jag was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car in question and even delivered the car to me! I would recommend Key West Ford to anyone interested in buying a vehicle.

Great service. Attentive. Made the experience painless and hassle free. Would highly recommend to anyone looking. Everyone was conscious with social distancing measures. Thank you
Peter Olsen helped me in a warm, caring and understanding manner. It was no hassle for him to bring 3 cars to the door for me to see, to take me for a drive explaining all the workings of the vehicle to me as well as answering all my questions in a respectful, easy-going way.
His humour and attentiveness made the time fly as he negotiated a good deal for me, saw that I had all the correct payments in place, made ICBC registration available to me and helped me move everything from my trade-in car to my new car so I could drive off feeling like a million dollars! What service!
Latest Nissan News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
From a window you watch - apprehension trapped in your reflection, worry etched along your brow. Your teen is slipping behind the wheel of his first car… and all you can do is consider the terrible possibilities. Will he be safe? Will he be responsible? He promised that he would but trust proves a delicate thing; and it’s easily overwhelmed by concern.
Nissan understands. This is a milestone that every parent dreads - and letting your child onto the road (unsupervised, unobserved) is no simple task. This is why the 2018 LEAF has been designed to deliver superior support to every generation, utilizing a unique suite of youth-focused technologies. Check it out!
According to the NY Daily News, the 2018 LEAF has been tailored for teens. Within its NissanConnect infotainment console is a series of safety protocols - applications that regulate speed (utilizing adaptive cruise control to maintain highway limits), curfews (alerting young drivers to approaching pre-set time restrictions and sending text messages to their parents’ phones), and boundaries (with integrated mapping systems tracking every movement). These programs work in seamless tandem to provide greater peace of mind on the road.
They’re also ably assisted by a fully automated suite. Collision notifications are sent immediately to designated smartphones, alerting family members to the possibility of an accident; Emergency SOS programing allows teens to communicate with local medical or police personnel, ensuring that they’re never alone; and roadside assistance functions provide access to Nissan’s own in-house team. Through the Connect console, drivers of every age can experience true support.

The thought comes suddenly - a rush of words and worry. Is the car charged? You scowl against your pillow, searching your memory for the answer. Did you plug-in the port when you came home from work? Will the battery be ready for the morning? These questions blitz through your mind, followed by a nagging sense of doubt; and you… sigh, knowing that there will be no sleep until you check.
Nissan urges you to stay in bed - and reach instead for your phone.
As the NY Daily News explains, Nissan seeks to simplify the performance process - fusing its 2018 LEAF with an exclusive tech service. It delivers a direct connection between the hatchback and the driver’s phone, creating a custom app suite that provides real-time responses. Press a button to access comprehensive vehicle information (all streamed digitally to Apple or Android interfaces):
Remaining Drive-Range - this NissanConnect tool will monitor the battery, noting how many miles its current change levels can yield.
Plug-In Reminders - the system will notify drivers of low power levels and when to charge their batteries.
Automated Power - this application can be programed to initiate the charge process, with the LEAF’s port system identifying off-peak electricity rate hours and drawing energy more efficiently from the home.
Completion Notices - the system will alert users when the battery is fully charged, sparing them the need to repeatedly check the port.
With the release of the 2018 LEAF, Nissan embraces convenience: allowing drivers to devote their thoughts to more than energy levels. Utilize this Connect service (which is available for free for the first six months of ownership) to take control of every lithium-ion cell.

With the release of the 2018 LEAF, Nissan delivered more than convenient hatchback styling to Seattle. It also offered class-leading tech - with the entire chassis fused with electric capability and lithium-ion support. Beneath the hood waits a suite advanced autonomous features... and they’ve just received an award.
IEEE Spectrum - a leading online tech magazine - has just named the 2018 LEAF as one of the year’s best cars, carving a place for it within its coveted Top Ten list.
According to IEEE, the new LEAF proves a technological showcase for all-electric performance. It combines a 110-kilowatt motor with a 40-kilowatt battery system - generating a robust 147 HP and 236 lb.-ft of torque. A DC charge port system provides quick responses, with Nissan fusing it with exclusive vehicle-to-grid capabilities (this allows drivers to transfer the platform’s power directly to their homes, reducing consumption levels during peak usage times). Available solar-array panels further impress, delivering sustainable performance regeneration.
What truly distinguishes the 2018 LEAF, however, is its ProPilot system - which yields an intuitive experience on the highway. Lane departure warnings pair radar sensors with automated steerage to ensure optimum vehicle alignments; while forward collision software monitors traffic patterns, identifying sudden obstacles and decelerating to provide drivers ample response times. High-definition cameras further improve safety, tracking the distance of both rear and frontal cars. By gauging those positions, these systems can then create a safe speed setting.
These automated features won the admiration of the IEEE committee - and we know they’ll also prove popular with our customers. Visit our dealership today to learn more about the 2018 LEAF and its many tech options.
Within every Nissan office hangs a banner - a collection of bright colors and brand stickers, with 1,000,000 stretched across in a big, bold font. This is no arbitrary number. Instead it serves as a future goal, reminding both sales representatives and engineers to come together for an EV push like no other.
Nissan intends to turn its LEAF trim into a global force - and we think it will succeed.
As Fortune explains, Nissan has recently unveiled a plan to transform the automotive world - sending its 2018 LEAF to China, Thailand, and other southeast Asia ports. This expansion of its electric line is to accommodate the rising interest in economy platforms, introducing consumers to class-leading performance (including a 40-kWh lithium-ion battery and a 110-kW AC synchronous motor, both of which deliver a single-charge drive-range of 151 miles). This platform will serve as a perfect showcase of smart mobility.
It will also help to usher in worldwide domination.
Spurred by the 2018 LEAF’s recent success, Nissan intends to propel its EV line-up forward - by achieving 1,000,000 annual sales by 2020. Positive reactions to its latest 240-volt battery system has proven the viability of plug-in platforms; and it believes it can redefine the entire market. By emphasizing superior economy (112 MPGe) and dynamic power (147 HP), the brand can change public perception and develop an entirely new demographic base.
Expect to see the LEAF conquer every chart by 2020.

You defy the trends - seeking the road less traveled, searching for answers to questions never asked. Common isn’t a word within your lexicon… and the iPhone certainly isn’t in your pocket. Android is instead your device of choice.
Nissan applauds your differences - and wishes to accommodate them through seamless smartphone integration. Check out the 2018 LEAF and its Android Auto system!
According to Nissan, the 2018 LEAF will cater to more than Apple fans. Instead Android users will (finally) find their needs addressed - with the Connect infotainment console proving perfectly compatible. Sync your device and discover endless applications, including:
Google Assistant - utilize voice-commands to access this program, which maintains schedules, records notes, and reads text messages aloud. It acts as a digital secretary while traveling.
Google Maps - this real-time option displays both the road and its conditions, recognizing potential hazards (such as poor weather or reported crashes). It can quickly calculate alternative routes, and it offers turn-by-turn navigation through 3D mapping and interactive GPS.
Music Content - Android Auto boasts a suite of media options, allowing drivers to customize their playlists. Stream songs from Spotify and Pandora; access files from your Google accounts; and use the steering wheel-mounted controls to scan through the AM/FM radio.
The 2018 LEAF delivers an alternative to the iPhone, allowing Android users to maintain seamless connectivity. To learn more contact us today!
It’s a tradition of dull lines - with the electric market defined by bulky plastics and unforgiving vinyls. Great efficiency demands a sacrifice of design, and drivers resign themselves to hastily crafted cabins.
Nissan thinks it’s time for a change - which is why it’s offering Seattle families the sleek style they crave, bolstering its 2018 LEAF S with a brand-new interior! Let’s take a peek inside.
Open the door of the 2018 LEAF S and smile. The days of bland design are gone - with this all-electric platform boasting plush cloth seating (which, as Kelley Blue Book notes, delivers metallic-inspired coloring and available contrast stitching). The soft-materials of the dashboard and center stack console feature a taupe-scheme, while a seven-inch instrument gauge offers vivid LCD lighting. A slick rotary-style transmission provides a retro-touch, and aluminum accents are found throughout.
Nissan believes that variety is the spice of life - which is why it’s fused the 2018 LEAF S with several distinct color options. Drivers can create a custom cabin by choosing: Light Gray, Solid Black, or Black and Blue.
With the release of the 2018 LEAF, Nissan allows drivers to achieve mid-size styling in the EV market. To learn more about the S' available cabin features contact our team today.

We're just two months into 2018 and the all-new next-gen Nissan Leaf keeps raking in the hardware!
Last week at the Chicago Auto Show, it was announced that the best-selling EV in the world is now a winner of Kelley Blue Book's Five-Year Cost to Own Award in the electric vehicle category. For cost-conscious, enviro-aware Seattle area drivers, this is excellent news!
According to KBB, the Five-Year Cost to Own Awards honors new vehicles and brands with the lowest projected ownership costs, based on data for new cars for the initial five-years of ownership. It takes into consideration depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, and state fees for all new models within that time period.
Redesigned for 2018, the Leaf now offers a 40% greater range than the original, as well as a more appealing exterior styling. It also incorporates Nissan's Intelligent Mobility suite, featuring technologies such as ProPILOT Assist, e-Pedal, Automatic Emergency Braking and more.
"Nissan Intelligent Mobility is about applying the latest technology to set a new benchmark for exciting and safe driving and the all-new Nissan Leaf delivers on that in every way," said Brian Maragno, Head of Nissan's EV Marketing and Sales Team. "In addition to the exhilarating drive, EVs are inherently less expensive to operate than gas-powered cars and the 2018 Nissan Leaf provides more range, content and technology at a lower MSRP than the previous generation, offering customers more value at a lower price."

Complacency is a dirty word - which is why Nissan has struck it from the company lexicon, refusing to acknowledge its existence. Engineers aren’t allowed to whisper it; designers can’t debate its merits; and compliance officers must never entertain its meaning. Instead they must all emphasize innovation with every breath.
It’s this vocabulastic dedication that has enabled Nissan to launch its 2018 LEAF - and dominate the global market.
According to Electrek, the 2018 LEAF will soon rev from country to country. Nissan is expanding its production processes, seeking to establish itself in every corner of the world; and, to do this, it’s bringing an all-green initiative to seven additional markets: Thailand, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and South Korea.
Nissan has never proven a strong presence in these areas - with sales trailing its Ford and Honda competitors. The brand is confident, however, that the 2018 LEAF will deliver massive sales. This all-electric hatchback has already earned record-breaking pre-orders in Europe and the United States; and consumer interest is at a high. It’s the perfect time, therefore, to dominate the Australasia market.
How will the LEAF accomplish this task? We believe its e-powertrain will impress every driver - yielding a peppy 147 HP (a 38% increase over the previous generation) and 236 lb.-ft of torque (a 26% increase, respectively). The laminated lithium-ion battery cells provide 60% more energy acceleration to ensure a 150-mile range; and the recently stiffened torsion bar allows for stable handling. This platform will maneuver through every challenge with ease.

In 1962 Madeleine L’Engle introduced readers to her tesseract-world - transporting them across space and dreams alike. A Wrinkle In Time (which charted the adventures of young Meg Murray) brought weighty science-fiction themes to children, allowing them to explore life, death, and love. The book proved an instant success and has remained a steady presence on the charts ever since.
Soon it will also beguile screen audiences - with Disney bringing a live-action version to theaters in March 2018. This adaptation will star Hollywood elite (Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, and Oprah Winfrey); and it will also serve as the new Nissan LEAF’s first leading role.
According to Inside EVs, the 2018 LEAF will make its debut in the Wrinkle In Time film. This hatchback will rev onto the screen, providing lithium-ion power to Meg Murray and her friends. Its aerodynamic body - complete with slim side panels and a drag-reducing rear diffuser - will prove perfect for traveling between worlds, effortlessly adapting to every changing incline; while its portable trickle-charge cable will ensure on-the-go ease, delivering a 120-volt connection to bolster the battery. Intelligent Trace Control technology should keep the platform right on track, engaging the tires as needed to ensure smooth cornering; and Active Ride software will mitigate bumps to promote a smooth experience.
Meg and her team will certainly find inter-dimensional travel much easier!

It’s a collection of numbers. Throughout January critics have jotted down every EPA estimation - comparing drive-ranges and mileage promises, trying to decipher the slightest power variations. The impending release of the 2018 LEAF left them anxious for answers. Would this all-electric hatchback deliver the necessary performance? Could Nissan surpass its competitors?
Both questions can be greeted with an enthusiastic Yes.
According to Jalopnik, the 2018 LEAF’s drive-range has just been revealed - and it’s a staggering 151-miles. While this number had been speculated for months, no official confirmation was available… until now. After rigorously testing the 40-kWH battery pack, the EPA assures critics that this Nissan platform will deliver best-in-class power; and it will easily surpass its closest rivals (the Ford Focus Electric, the Honda Clarity, and the Volkswagen e-Golf).
How does it achieve such an impressive performance? Nissan has fused the 2018 LEAF with both a 110-kW AC motor and a 192-cell lithium-ion system. When paired with a shortened gearbox (which improves responses times and eliminates down-shifting), the hatch can rev for more than 150 miles per single full charge. This will brand it a perfect option for Seattle commuters, accommodating their day-to-day needs with ease.
